LifeSleds molded handles with the textured grips are the biggest thing for me, they are twice the size of most sled handles and they are not
slippery. It's made for rescue and without grip you can't rescue. I've
had mine for over five years and it's in great condition. If you tow-in
during big conditions at some point you will get hit by your sled during
a rescue, the padded boogie board style rails won't knock you out. Still
the biggest thing for me is the handles they are so important during a
rescue.
